This essay film is about holes. About leaks in our world stuffed with meaning. Our life on the surface and the fear of falling into the underlying depths of the unfathomable. We look into a hole and find ourselves confronted with the emptiness that can be found everywhere. In the lifeless, timeless mass below our feet, in the insides of our bodies, our pursuit, our humour and our entire existence. Shuddering we realize that our perception of sense and reality are equally shaky as the anthropogenized surface of the earth.
