Ghosts documents the being of shelter dogs on Tenerife and is part of a larger project
about animal suffering, especially of Spanish hunting dog breeds such as Podencos and
Galgos. The respective stories of the individual animals, which have been suffered
severe abuse for years before, are deliberately left unspoken.
